Bloodshed was born from a deeply personal wound: grief, confusion, rage, guilt, hope, love, and sacrifice. Through fantasy, the story turns that pain into an epic journey of survival and meaning.
The five clans are based on the author’s five brothers and their unique characteristics, giving real depth to each clan and its warriors.
Soren, the central character in Bloodshed, is a man devastated by loss, turned hollow with rage, seeking justice, purpose, and ultimately a reason to keep moving forward.
His battle is not only against the forces threatening Tresibra, but against bitterness, vengeance, and hopelessness.
Gummosis is not just a monster. He is a personification of what grief, rage, and corruption become when left unchecked.
Soren’s battle with Gummosis is the internal battle to not become consumed by tragedy.
